HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio – Harrison County’s Humane Society is facing an unexpected setback after water began pouring from the ceiling of its new adoption center on Friday.
According to society officials, the issue started as soon as the building’s water system was turned on for the first time. The leak caused significant damage and has created new expenses the organization must now cover before the center can open.
The Humane Society is assessing the repairs needed and determining how to move forward, hoping to keep delays to a minimum as it works to launch the long-awaited facility.
