JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — Jefferson County’s courthouse in Steubenville will undergo renovations as part of next year’s America 250 celebration.
Plans for the updates include a redesigned lobby featuring displays that honor the county’s military heroes and showcase important items from Jefferson County’s history. Officials say the renovations aim to highlight the region’s heritage while providing an improved experience for visitors and residents.
Work on the courthouse is expected to begin next year in conjunction with the nationwide America 250 events.
