WHEELING, W.Va. — The highly anticipated Chevy Chase National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation live conversation and film screening scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9 at the Capitol Theatre has been canceled.
Organizers say the event was called off due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict involving Chevy Chase. The program was to feature a screening of the holiday classic followed by a live on-stage conversation with the comedy icon.
Patrons who purchased tickets do not need to take any action. Refunds will be automatically processed at the original point of sale.
The theatre and event organizers thanked the public for their understanding and asked media outlets to help spread the word so ticket holders are aware of the cancellation.
