TORONTO, Ohio – Toronto City Council has approved a conditional use permit allowing the development of ten RV hookup sites at the north end marina.
The decision came after several residents voiced opposition, raising concerns about the impact on the neighborhood and nearby properties.
Owners Roger Fisher and Vince Zastudil told city officials their goal is to draw more Ohio River boaters to stay in Toronto, adding that the RV sites would support local tourism and benefit nearby businesses.
The project will proceed under the conditions set by the city, with further steps required before construction can begin.
