ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Ohio Valley Mall will honor two newly crowned state championship teams from Central Catholic High School after a historic week for the school’s athletic program.
The Central Catholic girls soccer team claimed its first-ever state title on November 7, defeating Lincoln High School 3–1 to win the West Virginia Class AA championship. One day earlier, on November 6, the Central Catholic football team secured its own state championship, giving the school a rare back-to-back set of titles in the same week.
To celebrate both victories, Ohio Valley Mall will host a Champions Rally on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 5 p.m. in the Golden Ticket Cinemas Court. The public is invited to attend and recognize the athletes, coaches, families, and supporters.
During the rally, the Cafaro Foundation will present a donation to Central Catholic to support the school’s ongoing mission.
Ohio Valley Mall, located off I-70 at Exit 218 in St. Clairsville, features more than 100 retailers, restaurants, and hotels. It is owned and managed by affiliated entities of the Cafaro Company, one of the nation’s largest privately held shopping center developers.
