Belmont County Court Warns Jurors They Must Respond Ahead of Strussion Double-Murder Trial

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Belmont County court officials say they are taking steps to track down prospective jurors who failed to return or complete jury questionnaires ahead of the upcoming trial of Andrew Isaac Griffin.

Griffin is accused of murdering Tom and Angela Strussion in their Belmont County home in 2021. Court officials say jury participation is critical to ensuring a fair trial and that follow-up efforts will be made to secure enough qualified jurors for the case.

The trial is scheduled to begin March 2, 2026, in Belmont County Common Pleas Court. Griffin faces charges related to the double homicide, one of the county’s most high-profile criminal cases in recent years.
