COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has selected Ohio Senate President Rob McColley as his running mate.
Ramaswamy announced McColley will join the Republican ticket as the candidate for lieutenant governor.
Political analysts say McColley’s background in state government and experience in the Ohio Senate could help Ramaswamy navigate the legislative process and work with the General Assembly if elected.
McColley currently serves as president of the Ohio Senate and has spent years in the state legislature.
