Human Skull, Skeletal Remains Found in Wheeling Neighborhood

WHEELING, W.Va. — A person walking in a Wheeling neighborhood late Wednesday morning discovered a human skull near the area of 42nd and Wood streets.

Wheeling police responded to the scene around 11:45 a.m. and found not only a skull, but additional skeletal fragments in the area.

Authorities secured the scene and began an investigation.
