The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirms that Route 40 in Lansing is open as of Tuesday afternoon. Multiple fire crews including Wolfhurst Fire Department and Cumberland Trail responded to a fire at Z-Pipe Supply early Tuesday morning. The road was closed while crews battled the fire. There is no word on injuries or the cause of the fire.
BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A major fire is burning Tuesday morning along U.S. Route 40 in Lansing, Belmont County, at Z-Pipe and Supply, 54568 National Rd, Bridgeport, OH across from Belmont Carson Petroleum. People are reporting seeing smoke and flames from I-70.
Route 40 is closed in the area.
