Coroner Determines Cause of Death for Two Franciscan University Students Found in Vehicle

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified carbon monoxide poisoning as the cause of death for two Franciscan University students found deceased inside a vehicle earlier this week.

The victims were identified as Luke Reimer, 20, of Indian Shores, Florida, and Mary Mich of Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Steubenville Police were called to the area near Franciscan University on Monday, where officers discovered the man and woman inside a vehicle. Investigators say there is no indication of foul play.
