BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — A fire early Tuesday morning destroyed a home along Methodist Ridge Road in Belmont County.
Officials with the Cumberland Trail Fire Department said crews were dispatched around 4 a.m. and found flames shooting through the roof of the one-story home when they arrived.
Two adults inside the residence were able to escape safely. The American Red Cross is assisting the residents by providing temporary housing and clothing.
