HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio — A former school building in Hopedale has reopened with a new purpose.
The Schoolhouse, located on Normal Street near the city building, officially opened over the weekend. The renovated space will serve as a venue for community groups and private rentals.
In addition to hosting events, the owners plan to establish a museum inside the building featuring items connected to Hopedale’s history.
The project aims to preserve the structure’s historic character while creating a gathering place for residents and visitors in Harrison County.
