Ohio Tornado Drill: Sirens to Sound Wednesday!

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Governor Mike DeWine has designated this week as Severe Weather Awareness Week across Ohio.

As part of the annual observance, a statewide Tornado Emergency Drill will take place on Wednesday at 9:50 a.m., during which alarm sirens will sound across the state to test emergency alert systems and remind residents to review their safety plans.

Officials encourage all Ohioans to take the opportunity to practice tornado safety procedures and ensure they are prepared for severe weather events.
