MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — City Manager Rick Healy provided an updated timeline on construction of the city’s new municipal building.
Construction began in 2022 but has faced multiple delays due to the bankruptcy of the original prime contractor.
Healy said crews have now begun work on finishing interior spaces, with that phase expected to be completed by the end of summer.
City officials say the project is now moving forward after earlier setbacks.
