WHEELING — A portion of WV Route 2 near 46 River Road in Wheeling will be restricted to one lane beginning Monday, April 20, 2026, due to utility work.
The lane restriction will be in place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through early May as crews complete a main gas line replacement project.
Officials say traffic will be controlled by either a temporary traffic signal or flaggers during the work. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and expect delays in the area.
Work schedules may change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
