Spring Turkey Hunting Season Opens Across West Virginia

West Virginia — Spring turkey hunting season is now underway across the West Virginia, with all 55 counties open to hunters this year.

State wildlife officials say brood counts declined last year compared to previous seasons, a factor that could impact turkey populations.

The season will remain open through May 24.
