Wild turkey hunters across Ohio are seeing greater success this season compared to recent years.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says hunters had checked in 13,496 wild turkeys as of May 10.
That total is up by just over 1,000 birds compared with the same point last year, according to state wildlife officials.
