WHEELING, W.Va. — Wheeling Health Right is collecting essential supplies throughout September as part of its Community Care Drive.
The organization is seeking donations to assist individuals and families who may lack everyday necessities. Requested items include personal hygiene products, winter essentials, nonperishable food and beverages.
All contributions must be new, unopened and within their expiration dates.
Local businesses, churches and community organizations are encouraged to participate by placing collection containers at their locations. Individuals may also deliver donations directly to Wheeling Health Right.
Collected supplies will be loaded onto the organization’s mobile unit during an event scheduled for Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The drive is intended to ensure Wheeling Health Right can continue distributing basic necessities to residents across the community.
