Here’s What’s on the Ballot in Belmont County in the Nov. 4 General Election

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Here are some of the main races and issues slated for Belmont County, Ohio in the November 4, 2025 general election tomorrow:

The 16 townships in Belmont County have multiple trustee races including Richland Township in the St. Clairsville area.

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE –  Richland Township trustees in Belmont County, Jay Stephens, Jim DeNoble and Rick Ferrell. Listen to debate from Dimitri! Live & Dangerously Local! here.

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE – Jeffrey Gazdik and John Yoker are on the ballot.

Cities and villages including St. Clairsville, Barnesville, Bridgeport and Holloway have council seats slated for voters to decide.

In Shadyside, John Nick Ferrelli and Mike Meintel are vying for mayor.

There are also school board positions in various local school districts including Martins Ferry and Bellaire.

Multiple levy and tax issues, including:
  • A renewal levy for the Belmont County Mental Health Board (1.25 mills)
  • A 2 mil “Permanent Improvement Levy” for Union Local School District

  • Flushing Township Fire Levy (Additional, 2.5 mills)
