ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — In an effort to secure federal funding for a vital infrastructure upgrade, St. Clairsville Mayor Kathryn Thalman is calling on local residents to lend their support to the city’s waterline replacement project.
Thalman released an open letter on Monday emphasizing the urgency of the project. The mayor is urging residents to take a proactive stance by writing letters or sending emails to express their support.
Residents can submit their comments by letter at the city building or emailing Thalman, who plans to personally deliver the collection of community endorsements to Congressman Michael Rulli (R-Ohio), aiming to bolster the case for the $6 million funding she deems necessary to address the aging infrastructure.
