Authorities tell River News Network that the home on North 15th Street in Weirton that caught fire Friday evening is a total loss.
The homeowner fell asleep while a candle was burning. She suffered minor facial burns but refused treatment.
All of the home’s occupants were able to exit to safety.
WEIRTON, W.Va. – A house fire engulfed a home on North 15th Street in Weirton Friday evening.
The Weirton Fire Department, Weirton Police Department and Follansbee first responders are on the scene as of Friday evening.
There are no reports of injuries or the cause of the fire at this time.
