OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. — An Ohio County magistrate judge has revoked the bond of Arvindbha Patel, who is accused of repeatedly feeding animals and leaving behind litter on Wheeling Island.
As part of his bond conditions, Patel had been specifically ordered to stay away from the island. However, during a recent court hearing, Patel presented photographs that appeared to show he had returned to Wheeling Island, directly violating those restrictions.
Authorities allege Patel’s actions have contributed to ongoing nuisance issues in the area.
Patel’s previous history with animal feeding in the Bethlehem area of Wheeling gained public attention in 2023, when RiverTalk’s “Dimitri Live and Dangerously Local” segment covered earlier complaints tied to his behavior.
The case remains under court review, and no further details have been released at this time.
