HANCOCK COUNTY, W.Va. — A portion of County Route 1 (Sixth Street), from the intersection of Newell Road to the intersection of County Route 3/2 (Washington Road) in Newell, will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., beginning Monday, October 20, 2025, through Friday, October 31, 2025, for paving work.
Flaggers will be on site to maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.
Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could alter the project schedule.
