BROOKE COUNTY, W.Va. — The Brooke County Sheriff’s Office plans to hire new deputies in the coming months to strengthen public safety.
Sheriff Richard Beatty said the department is currently staffed but expects openings soon and is moving forward with testing to create a list of qualified candidates. Applications are due by March 2.
