WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. — A portion of West Virginia Route 20 between Reader and Porters Falls will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, as crews install fiber optic lines.
The lane restriction will be in place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to continue through late March. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers during the work.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed, use caution while traveling through the area, and expect minor delays.
Officials note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could impact the project schedule.
