Union Local Voters Invited to Town Halls on Proposed Levy

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio — Voters in the Union Local School District will have multiple opportunities to learn more about a proposed levy and ask questions ahead of the May election.

The levy, a five-year, three-mill permanent improvement measure, will appear on the upcoming ballot.

A series of town hall meetings has been organized by the Union Local Foundation for the Future Political Action Committee to provide information and allow residents to engage directly on the issue.

The meetings began Wednesday night and are scheduled to continue through April 14.

Organizers say the sessions are intended to help voters better understand the levy and its potential impact before heading to the polls.
