JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ohio — A resurfacing project along State Route 7 is set to begin April 6, impacting traffic between Brilliant and Steubenville.
The project will cover nearly seven miles of roadway, stretching from Brilliant to University Boulevard in Steubenville.
Officials say the contractor will start work in Steubenville near University Boulevard, focusing first on repairing a section of concrete along the southbound lanes. Pavement repairs and full resurfacing will follow.
Throughout construction, one lane of traffic will be maintained in both directions.
The project is expected to be completed by October 31, 2026.
