MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — Grand Vue Park is gearing up for a big Memorial Day Weekend celebration, offering three full days of activities, entertainment, and family fun from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24.
The weekend kicks off Friday night with live music from Pocket Change at 7:00 p.m. inside the Red Barn. Guests can also take part in a Murder Mystery Dinner, “McDeath,” starting at 6:00 p.m. in Banquet Hall, with pre-registration required.
Saturday brings a full schedule of activities, starting with “Birding 4 All” at 9:30 a.m. at the Main Office, which is free to attend. The Grand Vue Memorial Day Pool Party runs from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., featuring games and prizes. Kids can cool off during the Foam Party from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. behind the Activity Building.
Also on Saturday, visitors can enjoy Grand Vue Bingo at 6:00 p.m. in Richmond Hall, with multiple games and prizes. The night wraps up with the popular Dueling Yahoos Night Zip, starting at 9:15 p.m. at Basecamp, giving thrill-seekers a chance to zipline after dark.
Sunday’s events include a T-shirt Tie Dye activity at 10:00 a.m. at the Activity Building, followed by Poppy Art at 1:00 p.m. on the Richmond Hall deck, where participants can create red poppies while learning about the meaning of Memorial Day.
Organizers say some events may require fees or advance registration, and schedules are subject to change.
