Weir High names new head football coach

WEIRTON, W.Va. – Quincy Wilson has been named the new head football coach at Weir High School.

Weir High School Principal Ted Arneault made the announcement on social media Monday.

Arneault says, “Coach Wilson brings a wealth of experience from both the collegiate and professional levels. A standout running back at West Virginia University, he left his mark with legendary performances, including the unforgettable “Run, Quincy, Run” moment against Miami. His talents led him to the NFL, where he played for the Cincinnati Bengals.”

Arneault looks forward to the leadership and dedication Coach Wilson will bring to Weir High.
