BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio – Glenn Trudo, 60, of the St. Clairsville area, Assistant Director of the Belmont County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) was placed on unpaid administrative leave Thursday by the Belmont County Commissioners following a warrant being issued for his arrest, officials say.
The Belmont County Sheriff’s Office arrested Trudo Wednesday after being notified by federal law enforcement of an ongoing investigation involving Trudo. Subsequently, Belmont County Sheriff’s Detectives assisted the United States Secret Service and the Virginia State Police in executing search warrants at Trudo’s residence and place of employment.
As a result of this investigation, a warrant has been issued for Trudo’s arrest on two counts of soliciting a minor.
