George Thorogood Bringing “The Baddest Show On Earth” to Wheeling’s Capitol Theatre

WHEELING, W.Va. — Legendary rocker George Thorogood is set to bring his dynamic showmanship and raw energy to Wheeling as part of The Baddest Show On Earth Tour, taking the stage at the historic Capitol Theatre on Saturday, June 28. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show kicks off at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

In a conversation with River News, Thorogood reflected on a five-decade career marked by over 8,000 live performances, 15 million albums sold, and a global reputation as one of rock’s hardest-working and most electrifying acts.

While Thorogood is known for being Bad to the Bone, he also uses his music and platform to support a variety of charitable causes.

Thorogood will be joined by longtime bandmates Jeff Simon (drums), Bill Blough (bass), Jim Suhler (guitar), and Buddy Leach (saxophone), promising an unforgettable night of raw rock power and crowd-shaking classics.

Thorogood’s show features special guest Alastair Greene.

Fans can expect to hear hits like “Bad to the Bone,” “Move It On Over,” and “I Drink Alone” as The Destroyers deliver the kind of live rock show that’s made them a staple of American music for 50 years.

Tickets are available now through the Capitol Theatre box office and online.
