WEST VIRGINIA – Former David McKinley has died at the age of 79.
McKinley began his political career in 1980, when he was elected as a Republican to the West Virginia House of Delegates. He later won election to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010.
During his time in Congress, McKinley served six terms and was notable for being one of the few registered professional engineers to serve in the chamber.
