WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. – The Washington Agricultural County Fair kicks off next Saturday, Aug. 9 at the fairgrounds in Washington, Pennsylvania.
The Washington County Agricultural Fair is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is Pennsylvania’s oldest fair, dating back 227 years to October of 1798.
The fair attracts more than 62,000 spectators annually for the eight-day event. The fair features nearly 2,000 animals, including horses, dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep, swine, goats, and rabbits, as well as 2,600 agricultural exhibits, including hay, grain, fruits, nuts, and more.
The entertainment includes a rodeo, high school band night, school bus demolition, demolition derby, street stock trucks, drag racing, pro stock tractors, antique tractors, concerts, and more fun for the entire family.
