STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Residents in parts of Steubenville will experience a temporary water outage Tuesday, September 2, as the city’s Water Department works to replace two main line valves on Reserve Avenue.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. and will affect customers on Reserve Avenue, South Bend Boulevard, and the 100, 200, and 300 blocks of Bellview Boulevard. Water service will be restored once the valve replacements are completed.
Following the repairs, a boil advisory will be in effect until water samples can be collected, analyzed, and confirmed safe from contamination.
City officials thanked residents for their patience and understanding as crews work to improve the water system.
