WEIRTON, W.Va. — This weekend, Gus’s Goodies of Weirton marked a milestone, celebrating 90 years in business with a special community event. The bakery treated visitors to live music and an abundance of its signature sweets, delighting both longtime patrons and newcomers alike.
Weirton Mayor Dean Harris honored the occasion by presenting the bakery’s owners with a certificate recognizing their decades-long contribution to the community since opening in 1935.
Known for its scrumptious pastries and warm, hometown atmosphere, Gus’s Goodies has become a staple of Weirton, serving generations of residents and visitors.
