WHEELING, W.Va. — Windsor Manor, a senior living apartment building in Wheeling, has been cited for a severe cockroach infestation, prompting action from local health officials.
The Wheeling–Ohio County Health Department posted a condemnation letter on the building Friday after determining the infestation posed a public health concern. Despite the designation, residents are not required to move out at this time.
Building management has been given 30 days to eliminate the pest problem. City officials will monitor progress and ensure corrective measures are taken within the allotted timeframe.
