ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — A 25-year-old woman faces charges after allegedly brandishing a firearm during an altercation at the St. Clairsville Walmart in Belmont County on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the store on Valley Plaza Drive around 10 a.m. following reports of a woman pulling a gun on other customers inside the store.
Officials said officers arrived to find there had been an altercation between customers, during which one woman displayed a firearm.
Brittany Collins was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing and inducing panic. She was taken to the Belmont County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
Officials said the situation was quickly resolved and posed no ongoing danger to the public.
