STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Trinity Health System announced that Trinity Home Health has been recognized as a Top-Performing U.S. Home Health Agency by U.S. News & World Report.
In the publication’s inaugural Best Home Health ratings, more than 12,000 Medicare-certified agencies nationwide were evaluated. Trinity Home Health ranked among an elite group of 1,319 agencies—roughly the top 10 percent—to earn the “High Performing” designation.
Officials said the rating recognizes agencies that consistently exceed expectations in patient care, safety and clinical outcomes.
Darlene Byard, director of Trinity Home Health, credited the organization’s staff for the achievement.
“The Trinity Home Health staff is truly amazing and very passionate about the care provided to the patients we serve,” Byard said. “Each and every day the staff goes above and beyond to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care to help them heal and return to recovery.”
According to U.S. News & World Report, the rankings were developed to help patients and families navigate home-based care options. Agencies were evaluated using data-driven criteria including:
- Patient outcomes and recovery rates
- Prevention of unplanned emergency room visits and hospitalizations
- Overall quality of clinical instructions and care coordination
Officials said Trinity Home Health’s recognition highlights the quality of care provided to patients recovering in their homes throughout the region.
