BELLAIRE, Ohio — Former Bellaire High School teacher and coach Shawn Mark Valloric entered not guilty pleas Monday to 52 charges related to the alleged possession and distribution of child pornography.
During his arraignment, Valloric requested a reduction in his bond from $150,000 to $80,000, asking to be released from the Belmont County Jail to home confinement so he could care for his elderly mother. Judge Vavra denied that request, leaving the bond unchanged.
Valloric remains in custody and is scheduled to stand trial May 12.
