WINTERSVILLE, Ohio — Wintersville Village Council at its most recent meeting voted to approve a contract with Flock Systems for the installation of license plate readers.
The two-year agreement calls for six cameras to be installed throughout the village at a cost of just under $40,000.
Officials noted the system is already in use by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, Cross Creek Township, and the Steubenville Police Department.
