MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. — Moundsville City Manager Rick Healy says no individuals or firms submitted development plans for the Jefferson Avenue lots where major fires destroyed buildings in March 2025.
A March 19, 2026 deadline passed without any proposals, leaving the future of the site uncertain.
City officials say they will continue working with the Regional Economic Development Partnership to market the property, noting the importance of revitalization efforts in the city’s downtown business district.
