COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio — A Columbiana County substitute teacher who pleaded guilty to child sexual abuse material charges in February was sentenced Monday to 104 months in prison on 12 felony counts.
John McFarland, 43, will serve just over eight years behind bars and will be required to register as a Tier 2 sex offender upon his release.
