WEIRTON, W.Va. — Drivers in Weirton should plan for traffic delays on Friday, May 22, as the City of Weirton Department of Public Works has announced a temporary one-lane traffic restriction on Marland Heights Road for scheduled maintenance work.
According to city officials, Marland Heights Road will be reduced to one lane from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., weather permitting, while crews perform road maintenance in the area.
Motorists are being urged to use caution, expect possible delays, and allow extra travel time if traveling through the work zone during those hours.
The City of Weirton is asking for the public’s patience and cooperation as crews complete the maintenance project.
