Ja’Quan Lavender Foundation Postpones Olympic Youth Fun Day Until July 11

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The Ja’Quan Lavender Foundation has announced that its 5th Annual Olympic Youth Fun Day has been postponed.

The event, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 11.

Organizers said the event will still take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harding Stadium track in Steubenville. Only the date has changed.

The annual community event is designed to promote healthy living, physical activity and positive youth development throughout the Ohio Valley.

Participants can expect a variety of track-and-field themed games and competitions, along with activities focused on teamwork, sportsmanship and building self-confidence.

The event also includes educational opportunities centered on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices for young people.

The Ja’Quan Lavender Foundation’s Olympic Youth Fun Day has become an annual tradition dedicated to encouraging children to stay active while developing valuable life skills in a fun, supportive environment.
