WINTERSVILLE, Ohio — Hundreds of seniors from across the Ohio Valley gathered at St. Florian Hall on Thursday, October 8, for another successful WTOV9 Fall Senior Expo, bringing together local organizations, healthcare professionals, businesses and community members for a day of information, entertainment and connection.
The annual event, organized by WTOV9, once again drew an impressive turnout, offering attendees opportunities to learn about local services, explore health and wellness resources, participate in activities and connect with organizations serving the region’s senior population.
The River Network was proud to be part of this year’s expo, broadcasting live from St. Florian Hall and helping bring the excitement of the event to listeners throughout the Ohio Valley.
Throughout the morning, attendees visited exhibitor booths, spoke with local professionals and enjoyed activities including bingo, line dancing, giveaways and prize opportunities.
Trinity Health System served as the event’s Platinum Sponsor, supporting an expo focused on helping seniors stay healthy, informed and connected to their communities.
The event also featured educational speakers, healthcare information and resources covering topics important to older adults. Attendees had opportunities to enter drawings for iPads provided by the Jefferson County Health Department and enjoy complimentary coffee at the Medicare and Me Coffee Bar.
For The River Network, the expo provided another opportunity to connect with listeners face-to-face while highlighting the businesses, organizations and individuals making a difference throughout the Ohio Valley.
With hundreds in attendance and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the venue, this year’s Senior Expo demonstrated the continued importance of bringing local resources and residents together.
