EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio — A Wellsville man wanted by police in three states was recaptured early Thursday morning after escaping custody at a local hospital.
Bradley Cianni, 39, of Wellsville, slipped out of an ankle monitoring bracelet while undergoing treatment at East Liverpool City Hospital. Cianni was in custody at the time on multiple felony charges.
East Liverpool Police launched a search after discovering the escape, prompting alerts to law enforcement agencies in neighboring states. Cianni was located and taken back into custody before 9:30 a.m.
Authorities say additional charges related to the escape are possible.
