MARSHALL COUNTY, W.Va. — A portion of WV 2 in Glen Dale will have a lane closure next week for utility work.
The northbound slow lane between First Street and Second Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, and Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, to allow for aerial line installation.
Flaggers will be on site to maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and expect delays in the area.
Officials note that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could alter the project schedule.
