BELLAIRE, Ohio — The former St. John Central Academy will host an all-class reunion and pep rally on March 7, bringing alumni together one final time before the building transitions to new ownership.
The school officially closed in the summer of 2025, marking the end of an era for generations of students and families in the Ohio Valley.
Organizers say the event is drawing graduates from across multiple decades, including some of the school’s earliest supporters. Among those planning to attend is a 100-year-old alumna, as well as one of the original pomerettes from the mid-1960s.
Doors will open at noon, with a guided tour scheduled for 1 p.m. A final pep rally will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by Mass at 5:30 p.m.
