WETZEL COUNTY, W.Va. — Wetzel County Schools is encouraging residents to support an upcoming renewal levy in May, emphasizing its role in maintaining student transportation and safety.
District officials say Wetzel County Schools operates one of the newest bus fleets in the state, a point they credit to continued investment in student services.
School leaders say renewing the levy will help ensure buses remain safe and reliable for daily routes, as well as for trips to sporting events and extracurricular activities. They note the levy also helps avoid additional transportation-related costs for families.
Officials expressed appreciation to community members for their continued support of local schools and student opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
