CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Secretary of State Kris Warner says voter registration in the state has reached a significant milestone.
As of Thursday evening, Warner reports that roughly 1.2 million people are registered to vote across the state.
County officials are continuing to process mail-in voter registration forms, with voter rolls expected to be finalized on April 28.
The updated totals will reflect any remaining applications submitted ahead of the deadline as the state prepares for upcoming elections.
